African Animals

We were able to see the baby elephant orphanage in Nairobi before we left for the Maddison House in the country.

We also took a safari walk, a guided tour like a zoo.  But not like a zoo.  It was African style, where we got to go into cages, feed animals and behind the scenes.  We even went inside the Cheetah cage - WOW!

Here we are bike riding through the middle of Kenya, next to a volcano.  The national park was called Hell's Gate.  We biked through herds of buffalo and zebra.  We saw giraffe and baboons.  Amazing scenery (even used in a blockbuster movie and Disney's Lion King, Pride Rock).

All the volunteers at the outreach weekend, including our Kenyan drivers Chumlee.
