We start the Easter week talking about the Savior's last week on earth. What did he do and what did he experience? Each child opens up an egg with an object and a scripture. Then we read the scripture story. On Thursday, we have a Passover dinner and talk about the what that is historically with Moses and as Christ's last supper. On Friday, we remember it as the day of Crucifixion, the day Christ suffered and died for each of us. Then, we love to color eggs: multicolored, designed, speckled. Each egg is a masterpiece. The process takes hours. Coloring eggs at home for the Easter bunny to hide and for the creamed egg breakfast - yum! Meanwhile, we remember why the egg is a symbol of Easter: For Christ was resurrected and the tomb is empty.
This year we celebrated Easter in the Massachusetts' Berkshires (NW Mass). We swam and hiked the hills on Friday and Saturday.

Usually, Easter is freezing in New England. This weekend was warm and beautiful. It actually felt like spring. Karinn & Sarena sitting on a rock wall, a property boundary for the colonists, which typically took 3 generations to build.

The kids climbing fallen trees.

Giddy Trevor searching for eggs on Easter morning. Then, it was 3 sessions of wonderful conference broken by climbing trees, or walks to the ski resort, snowballs and sliding on our bums down the icy mountain wearing only jeans and t-shirts because it was so warm. Jared was a nut and slide like a penguin on his stomach down the mountain and off jumps.
