It's springtime which means occassional warm days and CRAZY busy! Here's a few of the things we've been up to in April and May. Lots of Lacrosse! Trevor's now in Juniors, so they get to hit and are in full pads. He loves it! Jared is playing in the LAX CAT league, which is instructional. He's bored to tears. Luckily, he's also playing soccer and just made the all-star team -he's on fire!
Trevor showing Laif Wheeler how to play (our friends from TX came to visit for 2 weeks during spring break, and we ventured all over New England. I'll have to post pics later since Sarah has them all).
Jared and Karinn put on a bike trick show for us today.

Karinn just had her girl scout bridging ceremony from 2 years of Daisy Scouts into Brownies!

Makenzie and the YW of our church at the Boston temple yesterday.

I got to drive Makenzie for the day trip, and accompany the YW in the temple. What a beautiful day. There's no where else on earth I'd rather take my children!

We had to hustle home from the temple for Makenzie's final performance in their school play, Peter Pan. Makenzie was a pirate. Argh!

Here's the cast call at the end. She had a great time!

Trevor went on his first Boy Scout campout in April and his first canoe trip this past weekend. He was giddy with excitement! I swear the pack was almost as big as him! I love how they run their troop here: the boys are in charge and responsible. They make up the food items, shop and pack themselves. If they forget something like syrup on their list, then mom's are not allowed to compensate. They learn quick!

Jack, Trevor and Evan leaving to hike in to base camp. My WeBelos all grown up!
I'm outta here Mom! See ya!

When the Wheelers were here, we spent a day in NYC and went to the American Girl Store. Karinn loved playing dolls with Kate and Lolly! Every day since they've left, she begs for a sister her age to play with!

Grandpa Sharp got to stop by for a night of fun and frollicking: the kids talked him into being the "muscles" to push them down the hill. Yes, that's Jared inside the tire!

Grandpa and everyone planning the strategies of starting and stopping the tire, surely the tricky part!

WOWWWW! Love all these fotos - and so much happening! Trevor and Makenzie keep getting more grown up! Congrats, Kenz, on the solo! Next stage: family reunion! So great to see you at the temple with your mom.
And Trevor - you'll love having your scout fotos displayed at your Eagle ceremony in a few short years!
Jared will tear up the soccor field again - yea!
And Karinn -a darling new Brownie.
These fotos are ALMOST as good as being there. THANKS!
Great update! Lots of stuff. All of it looks like so much fun. And Sarena, that pic of you and Kenz is so great. I can't wait til I can do that kind of stuff with my kids! Its so fun to see your family and se what I have to look forward to with my kids. Love ya!
Wow! So many photos! All I can say is that your kids are growing way too fast! They are looking so grown up--even our little Karinny! We miss you guys sooo much! Glad it's finally warming up in New England! Maybe we'll have to find some time to come up this summer--if you have an opening! :)
Kenzie, we're so proud of your singing and acting. Heather loves those things, too. Maybe you two could sing something together at the reunion?
Trev, I think that camping pack of yours really is bigger than you! : ) That's great that you're going on the overnighters now. Did you have fun? Also, now that you're playing full-contact la crosse, try not to hurt too many of your friends!
Jared, good for you in rocking it in soccer! Keep it up; girls love guys that play soccer.
Karinn, you may not have sisters your age to play with, but Heather just delivered a girl cousin for you to play with, and we're counting on you to teach her how to play dolls and dress-ups, okay?
Can't wait to see you all at the reunion!
Thanks for the update! I can't believe how much your kids are growing up! Makenzie is a little star with her singing and acting! What a great experience to bring her to the temple! Trevor is such a stud with his massive pack and sports. I can imagine Jared ready to kick some butt with the big boys. He is so naturally athletic. Adorable little girl scout!
Your kids are growing up so fast! Thanks for all of the fun pictures. I can't believe Trevor on that back pack trip. How fun!
